To promote sales and awareness for the UK’s first publicly ticketed drone light show, Evolution. Created by Yuup and taking take in two cities in the UK, Bristol and Wolverhampton.
We not only had to help promote the event to audiences of all ages, but we also had to educate the public about what a drone light is, all with the purpose of driving ticket sales.
Working across three months, we worked with Yuup, the local experiences companies, to find out what was newsworthy and promote this across the media and influencers. We created press releases and newsworthy media angles to drive awareness and coverage across target media.
On top of day-to-day media relations, we organised a media and influencer event to showcase Evolution, the drone light show, for the first time. The purpose of this event was to drive media coverage in the last remaining weeks, engage with influencers across Bristol and the West Midlands, and ultimately get people excited! We hosted the event at the Gloucestershire City Cricket Club and it was hosted by tech journalist at TV Presenter, Georgie Barratt.
We secured a total of 68 pieces of coverage, including BBC News Online and ITV West Country. Over 100+ media and influencers attended the launch event, which resulted in over 50 social media shares. Overall, we had 90+ social shares across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Twitter.
