It’s thumbs down for the Facebook thumb!

The Facebook Like and Share buttons have been redesigned and the first thing you will notice is that the famous Facebook thumb has gone to the big thumb farm in the social countryside.

The new Like and Share designs feature the Facebook ‘f’ logo in a new white on blue colour scheme, rather than the previous blue on white.

The new designs have been created for high-resolution screens and according to Facebook will be seen more than 22 billion times a day and are embedded on 7.5 million websites.

Users should start seeing a change over the next few weeks.
