The brief

Hotel booking and digital marketing expert Avvio, came to us two years ago before launching Allora, the world’s first hotel booking engine powered by artificial intelligence. Avvio needed to raise its profile within the hospitality industry through a communications strategy that supported its innovative cutting-edge technologies that enable accommodation providers to drive outstanding growth in direct bookings.

The work

Purplefish works closely with the team at Avvio on a media relations campaign to promote its online experience to the hospitality industry. Through thought-leadership opportunities, speaker profiling and press office functions, Purplefish works with publications across Europe and the USA to secure coverage.

The impact

Within the first year of working with Avvio, we secured just under 100 pieces of coverage through proactively engaging with hospitality publications to source opportunities. We have also obtained speaking roles at highly regarded industry conferences such as Independent Hotel Show to raise the profile of Avvio’s leaders.
