Purplefish Gromit competition winners
Since Gromit fever took over Bristol this summer, Purplefish has been running a competition with our clients to find the best decorated mini Gromit and today we announce our lucky winners.
Earlier in the year, we bought some mini Gromits, which we are proud to say contributed proceeds to the Bristol Children’s Hospital, and sent them out to our lovely clients to go wild on. We’d like to thank everyone for the time and effort they put into all the fantastic entries and we will post more pictures on the blog over the coming weeks for everybody to see.
The chosen winners of the competiton were selected by our panel of esteemed judges that included:
- Clare Reddington, director, iShed and The Pervasive Media Studio
- Darius Pocha, creative director and entrepreneur, JoyLab and Blake London
- Paul Appleby, director VID Communications and Chair of West of England Local Enterprise Partnership Creative Sector Group
- Stephen Lepitak, news editor, The Drum
So, in winning order with some of our judges comments included, we are delighted to announce:
1st: Crog (Prospect Training Services)- Gromit meets where the wild things are – “this design made us laugh, is highly original and clearly took loads of effort”
2nd: Axminster Gromit (Axminster Carpets) – “highly unusual, the design connects to a British business, blends traditional and contemporary maker connections and would have wide appeal”
3rd: George Ferguson Gromit (Property Solutions) – “highly recognisable, very Bristol and looks brilliantly made”
Massive congratulations to our 1st place winners, Prospect Training Services, who will see our lovely city from above in a balloon trip for two. Runners up from Axminster Carpets will enjoy a £50 voucher dinner for two at the Glassboat in Bristol. While third place, Property Solutions, will enjoy half a case of Prosecco. Every winner also gets a Wallace and Gromit DVD boxset. Thanks again to everyone who entered. We hope you enjoyed getting creative!
