Redrow Homes South West
National housebuilder Redrow needed an agency on the ground in the South West to promote its extensive community contributions and drive sales at its developments across the region. In addition, we handle regional media enquiries relating to matters surrounding planning and customer issues.
Since our appointment in 2016, Purplefish has worked closely with the Redrow South West team on an ever-adapting mixture of communications tactics to support the sales function and its changing requirements month by month. This largely consists of media relations activity, through which we promote interesting customer stories, development updates and Redrow’s many positive contributions and charitable works within the communities where it builds houses. We also curate creative development-based event ideas which we project manage and promote, including the design of supporting assets. In addition, Purplefish provides social media content relating to our regional activity which is pushed out via Redrow’s national channels.
Highlight outputs since 2016 include:
Partnering with internationally renowned street art and graffiti festival, Upfest, to facilitate a giant piece of artwork on the hoardings at Redrow’s Bedminster development to ease Redrow’s integration in the area.
Project managing a Summer Food and Drink Festival at a Redrow development in Dawlish, Devon, inviting prospective homebuyers and residents to enjoy a sunny afternoon sampling tasty food and drink from the local area, leading to a major uplift in sales interest.
Development of a series of walks leaflets to educate prospective homebuyers based along the South West coast on the rich number of outdoors strolls easily available to them if they purchased a Redrow home.
Having proactively engaged with local media outlets, we have formed close working relationships and successfully minimised the impact of potentially critical media coverage.
